Regular servicing of your vehicle ensures it remains reliable and safe.

Servicing is where a professional mechanic puts your car through a series of checks and tests. These checks at Automark go way beyond the MOT, which really only checks to make sure your car is basically safe and road worthy. A car service at Automark probes deeper into a car's working parts and, if done regularly, will prolong the life of the car and its parts, save you money, reduce the risk of breaking down and make your car a safer drive. All cars have a service schedule - filters, fluids, belts, brakes, pads, spark plugs and many other components need to be changed at specific intervals.

Today's vehicles vary in how often they require servicing. It can be every 10,000 miles, once a year or your vehicle may have long life servicing or even variable servicing. Check your manufacturer's service book to see what's best for your car. Whilst the type of service you need can be affected by how you use your car, routine servicing and repair is good practice and will provide a return on your investment.
Provided your vehicle is serviced and maintained in accordance with the vehicle manufacturer's instructions during the manufacturer's warranty period, you have the right to have the work undertaken by an independent garage without affecting your warranty.
When your vehicle has been in for service with us, you can expect to feel a difference with how your vehicle runs and drives after. Our service routine goes far more in depth than any other independent garage or main dealer.

When it comes to servicing we don't compromise on quality, all parts we fit are of OE quality.

General Service

Our servicing packages include an extensive range of checks & replacement of servicable items. We currenty have two service packages including an 'Intermediate' and 'Full Service' package.

Our intermediate service package includes the check and replacement of servicable items where our Full Service includes the inspection & change of a full range of items and fluids.

Includes

• Check all fluid levels, top up where neccesary & Add screen wash
• Brake fluid & Coolant test
• Replace oil & filter

• Replace spark plugs (Petrol Vehicles)
• Replace pollen/cabin filter
• Visual inspection underneath vehicle
• Check each wheel for play, wheel bearing noise & Brake visual insp
• Remove wheels, thorough inspection of wheel and tyre
• Strip down brakes, ensure all components are cleaned, free sliding, greased where required and adjusted where neccessary
• Hubs, Wheel studs/bolts greased
• All wheel torques set
• re-set service light & Stamp service book

Brake Disc Resurfacing by Pro-Cut at Automark.

Sometimes replacing Brake Discs is not cost effective , for instance when the pads are in need of replacement but the discs are not , the pads have left a minor groove in the disc from wear. Or sometimes sourcing replacement discs for classic and rare vehicles can provide difficult or costly, this is where Pro-Cut comes in.

The Pro-Cut lathe works on the vehicle, by attaching itself directly to the hub. The technology includes an automatic, electronically-controlled, gyroscope system which measures run-out in the hub and corrects for this to an accuracy of 0.025mm. That’s less than the thickness of a human hair!

The automatic surface machining of a disc is completed in around 4 minutes. The complete process takes less than 10 minutes per disc.

All brake discs can be skimmed at least once. The only time your brake discs should be replaced is when they reach minimum thickness. Leading manufacturers have approved the Pro-Cut process of brake disc skimming. These include Porsche, BMW, Nissan, Peugeot, Subaru, Chrysler, Mitsubishi, Mazda, Ferrari General Motors, Kia, Jaguar, Land Rover, Ford, Toyota, Honda and the performance brakes manufacturer EBC.

Our cutting edge, dealer level diagnostic equipment allows us to carry out comprehensive diagnostic checks and repairs of faults on the latest vehicles. This allows us to identify and rectify any faults in a timely and cost effective manner.
At Automark we have over 20 different up to date diagnostic computers enabling us to cater for all different make of vehicles, having a large variety of hi-end diagnostic computers means we are able to offer more than just engine management fault code reading and clearing some of the task's we can perform are as follows:
